Work Made in 2014.

At the beginning of 2014, my intention was not simply to 'produce more work', but instead to challenge further the notions of when something is complete in a reappraisal of my own language and a broadening of approach.  Drawing came to the fore in both paintings and sculptures and the focus fell mainly on making studies of the head.  One of the unforeseen effects of this was that I did indeed: 'produce more work', as the marks spread across different surfaces in unexpected ways, as objects and sculptures became signifiers of time, space and experience.  A line of sorts can now be drawn under this body of work.  Here is a slideshow of the work produced.
